On November 8, 2012, the Dayton Bar Association held its 20th Annual Bench-Bar Conference at Sinclair Community College.  Steve Justice, a partner in Dungan & LeFevre’s litigation practice group, was honored to Co-Chair the event with the Hon. Michael Newman, United States Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Ohio.  The Bench-Bar Conference is the largest annual event that the Dayton Bar Association hosts for judges and attorneys that practice in Ohio’s Second District Court of Appeals.  Over 200 attorneys and judges attended the day-long conference, and guest speakers included Dean Erwin Chemerinsky, University of California, Irvine School of Law; the Hon. Walter H. Rice, District Judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio; Justice Judith A. Lanzinger of the Ohio Supreme Court, and Kendall Coffey, Esq., legal commentator for MSNBC, CNBC, and Fox News, and former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida.  By all accounts the Bench-Bar Conference was a huge success, one of the best ever hosted by the Dayton Bar Association.”
