After spending 15 years as a partner with a large regional law firm, Mr. Justice joined Dungan & LeFevre in 2011. He practices both civil litigation and criminal defense and represents non-profit corporations such as church denominations, individual churches, and para-church ministries.
Regarding civil litigation, Mr. Justice has experience in the areas of business/commercial litigation, employment disputes, residential and commercial construction, environmental matters, real estate litigation, personal injury, toxic torts, product liability, probate litigation, and civil rights litigation. Mr. Justice has extensive class action experience in single and multi-district litigation, and he serves as a resource with questions involving electronic discovery. With respect to environmental matters, Mr. Justice has represented clients facing civil and criminal claims involving air emissions, waste water management, CERCLA cost recovery, disposal of medical/infectious waste, solid waste landfills, disposal of controlled substances, and brownfields transactions.
Regarding criminal defense matters, Mr. Justice represents persons charged with felonies or misdemeanors in federal or state courts. He serves as a member of the Criminal Justice Act felony panel for the Southern District of Ohio, Dayton Division, and he is a zealous advocate for his clients.
Mr Justice also serves as counsel to a national Protestant church denomination, local churches of various backgrounds, and para-church ministries that serve the community.
Mr. Justice is a member of the Federal, Ohio, Dayton, and Miami County Bar Associations. Mr. Justice resides in Troy with his wife, Susan.
