Amelia Rude joined Dungan & LeFevre after serving as a Judicial Law Clerk at the North Carolina Court of Appeals and as a Staff Attorney at the Miami County Common Pleas Court. Her work as judicial staff provided broad insight into civil litigation, abuse, neglect, and dependency matters, as well as criminal law.
Amelia is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She earned undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Indiana University in Bloomington and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh. While in law school, she served as Vice President of the Pitt Legal Income Sharing Foundation, Managing Editor of the University of Pittsburgh Journal of Law and Commerce, and Project Manager of the Incarcerated Persons Legal Support Project. She was also recognized for her leadership in public service.
Amelia is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Miami County Bar Association and serves as Co-Editor of the Miami County Bar Association Quarterly. She resides in Kettering, Ohio, and enjoys caring for her pets, doing arts and crafts, watching Indiana Hoosiers basketball, and playing sand volleyball.
